Piano Tuning

Since your piano is made mostly of wood and other organic materials, it naturally moves with seasonal changes in humidity and thus requires periodic attention.

Tuning simply means adjusting the tension of your piano’s strings to ensure each note produces the correct pitch. This is essential to develop a good musical ear, especially in the early stages of learning. Having a well-tuned piano also greatly improves motivation to play and practice as it is much more pleasant to listen to.

The recommended frequency of tuning is twice a year, but can be tuned as often as needed and should be done once a year at a minimum to keep the pitch stable.
